The role demands expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and Ruby on Rails, plus experience with MySQL and MongoDB.

You will debug, optimize performance, implement security best practices, and maintain existing codebases, with WordPress CMS experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional web development experience.

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This position offers an attractive salary of 1600 and we are open to considering foreigners for the job. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and designing websites, as well as developing web applications that meet user needs.

Job Duties

• creating user-friendly websites that meet design objectives;
• coding web applications using various programming languages;
• troubleshooting issues and debugging code;
• designing database schemas;
• optimizing website performance;
• collaborating with other developers, designers and system administrators;
• following best practices in software development and security protocols.
• Additionally, the Web Developer must be able to maintain existing codebases and websites.

Qualification Requirements

• a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field;
• at least 3 years of professional experience in web development;
• strong knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails etc.;
• familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB etc.;
• experience with debugging tools such as Firebug;
• excellent problem-solving skills;
• strong communication skills;
• Candidates who have experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress would be considered an asset.
