Job summary

Work standard seeks a Web Developer to join the Reef Al Fujairah City team in the United Arab Emirates. You will design and maintain websites and web applications, delivering clean, functional code and a strong user experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, hands-on experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/PHP/MySQL, and knowledge of coding standards (W3C, WCAG 2.0). Excellent problem solving and stakeholder collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience developing websites using HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/PHP/MySQL or other languages as required.
• Knowledge of coding standards such as W3C compliance, accessibility principles (WCAG 2.0).
• Good problem solving skills with an emphasis on debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and maintain websites and web applications.
• Create wireframes, site maps, user flows and other design documents for projects.
• Develop code using HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/PHP/MySQL or other languages as required.
• Ensure proper coding standards are followed throughout the project life-cycle.
• Analyze existing web applications to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Assist in the development of user interface design best practices as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product vision is achieved.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure that the products we deliver meet the highest quality standards.
