Job summary

Alpheya in Abu Dhabi is seeking a WealthTech Product Lead to shape the future of a B2B wealth platform spanning multi-asset trading, ledger, and portfolio management. You will own the product roadmap, drive impactful enhancements, and champion a user-centric culture across web, mobile, and other channels.

You will collaborate with design, engineering, data science and leadership; embed AI-native features, define telemetry, and use market research to guide strategic pivots.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in B2B/B2B2C SaaS fintech.
• Domain knowledge of wealth management and portfolio services.
• Hands-on experience prototyping mobile apps with real APIs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; fluent English; Arabic a plus.

Alpheya is a B2B WealthTech startup based in Abu Dhabi and backed by BNY Mellon and Lunate. The company has raised $300M to build a state-of-the-art wealth technology platform.

Their mission is to power and grow clients' Wealth franchises through differentiated experiences, financial solutions, and insights. Their digital wealth management platform will enable banks and other financial institutions in the Middle East to grow and further penetrate affluent, HNW, and UHNW investor segments.

While still leveraging the capabilities and knowledge of large organizations, their fintech is a startup with truly cross-functional and agile teams.

This is an opportunity to be part of something right from its inception, as they build the organization, design, products, and go live with our first client within 12 months.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WealthTech Product Lead to shape the future of our B2B Wealth platform — spanning multi-asset trading, ledger, and portfolio management, including Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM), robo-advisory, and omnichannel journeys. As a critical member of the product team, you'll own the roadmap, drive impactful product enhancements, and champion a user-centric culture of innovation across web, mobile, and other channels.

What You Will Achieve

• Spearhead successful product development: guide the platform through iterative, hypothesis-driven cycles, delivering features that delight users and move key financial metrics.
• Champion customer-centricity: think holistically across customer journeys, prioritizing the roadmap to eliminate friction points for target segments.
• Embed AI-native product development and features.
• Forge impactful partnerships: work closely with design, engineering, data science, and leadership to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
• Drive data-driven insights: use market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic pivots and product decisions.

What You Will Do

• Own the product end-to-end. Own the Wealth product roadmap (e.g. trading, portfolio, ledger) — from ideation to implementation, balancing technical feasibility and market relevance. You take a business problem and turn it into a complete, technically grounded specification that engineering can build, defining what success looks like, what's explicitly out of scope, and what decisions need to be made before a line of code is written.
• Deliver seamless multi-channel experiences (web, mobile, and beyond) with tight B2B2C integration for our bank and financial-institution clients.
• Design and translate technical contracts. You work with engineering teams to define API documentation before the first consuming team builds against it, working directly with protocols such as REST and FIX.
• Set and defend the quality bar. You define non-functional requirements — covering performance, reliability, security, and data integrity.
• Use AI as a core work practice. You are well versed in using AI tooling as a standard part of how you work.
• Instrument and measure what you ship. You define telemetry as part of the brief: user funnel visibility, system performance across the full stack, error breakdown by category, and business outcome metrics.

What We Need

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B or B2B2C SaaS fintech, trading, or wealth management environment.
• Domain knowledge of wealth management and portfolio management services — DPM, robo-advisory, trading, ledger, or similar — plus the technical acumen to navigate solution design trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience building or prototyping mobile applications that integrate real APIs.
• Track record of hypothesis-driven, user-centric product development.
• Strong analytical skills, turning complex data into actionable, strategic insight.
• Ownership mindset and a "yes, and" attitude; thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, data science, and leadership.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and SaaS metrics (e.g. ARR).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluent written English, Arabic a plus.
• Active, demonstrated use of AI coding and product tools (Claude, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of your daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in IT engineering, computer science, business, finance, or a related field.
• Prior hands-on experience in software engineering or building 0-to-1 products is a plus.
