Kerzner International’s Atlantis the Palm resort in Dubai seeks a Technician 2, Water Quality to support Life Support Systems and water treatment operations. The role requires chemistry knowledge, pump maintenance, and strong EnglishCommunication for reporting and coordination.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of water chemistry and chemical dosing practices.
• Hands-on experience in pump maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration.
• Working knowledge of Life Support Systems used in aquatic, pool, or water treatment environments.
• Basic English communication skills for reporting and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of pH, chlorine, alkalinity, hardness, and other parameters; ensure correct dosing and chemical balance to maintain optimal water quality.
• Monitor flow rates, pressure readings, filtration cycles, and system performance; support backwashing, media cleaning, and equipment adjustments.
• Identify issues related to water quality, circulation, or mechanical components and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily readings, maintenance activities, chemical usage, and system performance.
• Follow chemical handling protocols, PPE requirements, and facility safety standards at all times.
• Complete trainings and maintain competencies; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Maintain inventory and report missing items; ensure continuous operation of water systems.
• Assist inspections and major/minor repairs on pumps, motors, and related equipment.
