Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Watchman / Security Guard role based in the United Arab Emirates. The position is responsible for monitoring premises, controlling entry and exit points, and conducting regular patrols to deter unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism. Daily tasks include checking identification or access passes, observing CCTV or other surveillance systems, reporting safety or security incidents, and responding promptly to alarms or emergencies in line with company procedures. The role also involves assisting visitors or staff with directions, basic inquiries, and security-related support, while maintaining accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations. The Watchman / Security Guard is expected to follow all safety guidelines, comply with local regulations, and collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Physical Security and Private Security skills, including patrolling, access control, and incident response.
• Candidates should possess Personnel Security skills, with the ability to verify identities, manage visitor access, and safeguard staff and property.
• Candidates should possess Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact respectfully with residents, visitors, and colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment and surveillance systems, with the ability to follow established security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, and to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Clear communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the UAE is an advantage.
• Previous experience in security, watchman, or related roles is preferred; relevant security certifications or licenses in the UAE are beneficial.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and confidentiality.
