Job summary

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Washing Attendant for Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will ensure timely laundry service for guests and maintain the highest standards in washing and care of garments.

You will follow hotel policies, operate washing machines, and contribute to training fellow laundry team members to enhance skills and multitask across duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow hotel and laundry department policies to maintain standards
• Sort house linen and guest laundry by color and fabric
• Know washing programs for different garments
• Be aware of washing products and safe usage
• Operate washing machines properly and handle chemicals safely
• Assist and train other laundry staff to improve skills

Job description

This position is based at Park Rotana & Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi.

As a Washing Attendant you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is done on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Follow the policies and procedures of hotel and laundry department
• Work with conciseness in order to give the best result and good quality of work and also look after other pressing section
• Sort out the house linen and guest laundry according to the color and fabric
• Aware of different washing programs for different garments
• Have good knowledge of washing products and how and where to use them
• Use proper care of washing machines and chemicals being used
• Handle all garments with care
• Know all washing techniques and attend trainings and meetings within the department
• Assist and train other laundry employees to enhance their skills and allow multitasking
