Job description

Anduril is building a new operation in Abu Dhabi, and the simulation center is at the heart of it. The center exists to train customers on our capabilities, improve current and future products, and validate that what we deliver works as intended from day one.

As Red Cell Lead, you’ll build and lead the team that plays the adversary in tactical warfare simulations. You’ll set the standard for how hostile forces are modeled and how attack scenarios are run, while staying hands-on in the simulations yourself. This is one of the first technical hires in the region, with the chance to define how the red team operates as the center grows.

What you’ll do

• Lead, develop and set direction for the Red Cell
• Research and model hostile forces, capabilities and tactics
• Define the tactics and weapons used in adversary play
• Design realistic attack scenarios that stress-test Anduril’s products
• Partner with the White Cell and product teams to turn results into improvements and customer training
• Brief customers and senior stakeholders on findings

What we’re looking for

• Military or defense operational background (NATO or Five Eyes experience strongly preferred)
• Significant relevant experience, including leading a team (3+ years minimum in red teaming, wargaming or adversary modeling)
• Strong operational analysis skills
• Experience in modeling and simulation
• Working proficiency in Python or MATLAB (you don’t need to be a software engineer)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearances

What we offer

• Tax-free salary in the UAE, plus equity in Anduril
• Full relocation support, including logistics, documentation and annual flights home
• A founding leadership role at a site expected to grow to around 1,000 people
• Real impact on products used by defense customers
