Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Locates stock and delivers items to their destination on time and accurately.
• Receives incoming deliveries, checks against documentation, stocks the supply room.
• Loads and unloads materials from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Stores materials on racks or bins according to established sequences.
• Moves materials between receiving, production and storage areas as required.
• Reads production schedules and shipping orders to determine materials to move.
• Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval.
• Checks order forms and delivery requests for proper documentation and accuracy.
• Operates forklifts and other equipment to move, stack, load, or unload materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Locates stock and delivers items to their destination upon request, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Receives incoming deliveries, checks for accuracy against documentation, and stocks the supply room with new goods.
• Loads and unloads materials and products from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
• Stores, sorts, and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established sequences (e.g., size, type, or product code).
• Moves materials between receiving, production, and storage areas as required.
• Reads production schedules, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine materials to be moved or distributed.
• Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval.
• Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
• Operates forklifts and other electric or gas-powered vehicles to move, stack, load, or unload materials (including use of elevated storage equipment where required).
• Maintains organized storage areas and follows all safety, health, and environmental procedures and company guidelines.
