1. Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee day-to-day operations of cold rooms, freezers, chillers, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and power distribution.
• Ensure temperature control systems are functioning efficiently to maintain required storage conditions.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all MEP systems.
• Monitor power consumption and optimize energy efficiency across all systems.

2. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Supervise AMC vendors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and firefighting systems.
• Review and evaluate technical service reports and ensure timely closure of all corrective actions.
• Negotiate maintenance contracts and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs.

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with UAE civil defense, municipality, and authority regulations.
• Oversee fire alarm and firefighting systems testing, third‑party inspections, and annual certifications.
• Maintain updated documentation for equipment, permits, and safety audits.

4. Project & Improvement Initiatives

• Support expansion and modification projects related to racking, electrical load upgrades, and cold room capacity.
• Work closely with the warehouse operation team during new installations or warehouse reconfigurations.
• Drive initiatives for operational efficiency, energy savings, and system reliability.

5. People & Process Management

• Lead a small team of technicians to ensure 24/7 coverage and quick response to breakdowns.
• Maintain strong coordination with warehouse operations, logistics, and procurement teams.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and report performance metrics to management.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8‑12 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in warehouse or cold storage operations.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of cold rooms, HVAC, and electrical systems (including DBs, panels, and compressors).
