Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is looking for an Administrative Support to join their team. You will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to enhance the quality of clinical care by the nursing and medical staff. The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within the healthcare sector, and a High School diploma. Effective communication skills and an understanding of medical terminology are essential. Experience in stock control and patient care procedures will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in an administrative or similar position.
• Experience in an administrative or similar position in the Healthcare industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support to the ward/unit.
• Receive patients into the ward/unit.
• Ensure that clinical and non-clinical stock is sufficient and effectively controlled.
• Promote patient satisfaction.
• Ensure medical insurance information of patients is up to date.

Skills

Insurance claim procedures

Verbal and written communication skills in English

Medical terminology

Knowledge of patient care support procedures

Understanding of stock control processes and systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)

Secretarial Diploma and/or Basic Nursing background
