Job Description
As a Waiter / Waitress, you are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences. You will provide professional, personalized, and discreet service while ensuring all Food & Beverage standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Food & Beverage service in line with hotel standards and operational procedures.
- Greet, seat, and serve guests in a courteous, professional, and attentive manner.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, promotions, and daily specials to confidently advise guests.
- Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the outlet and service areas at all times.
- Complete mise-en-place and service preparation before, during, and after shifts.
- Reduce wastage, breakage, and spoilage through careful handling of equipment and supplies.
- Actively upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or Food & Beverage service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
Language
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as required for service operations.
