Job summary

Emaratech is seeking a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst to identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities across organization IT systems and networks in Dubai. You will scan, test, and analyse to improve security posture, and collaborate with IT teams on remediation and risk reduction.

The role requires staying current with cyber threat intelligence and best practices in vulnerability management, with a bachelor’s degree in CS/Info Sec or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Information Security or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across various systems and networks.
• Utilize automated tools and manual testing techniques to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Analyse scan results to differentiate false positives, exploitable vulnerabilities, and non-critical issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards with risk ratings and potential impacts.
• Recommend mitigation and remediation strategies with IT teams.
• Follow up on remediation to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed.
• Stay updated with security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
• Research new tools, techniques, and best practices in VA.
