Our client is a leading global active investment manager offering a broad suite of strategies across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and private markets. The firm has a long history of partnering with distributors and wealth platforms internationally and maintains an established Wholesale and Institutional client base across the region.
Following a renewed commitment to expanding its Gulf presence, the Abu Dhabi-based Sales team is enhancing its regional client-facing capabilities to meet rising demand from distributors, private banks and advisory groups. Candidates will find a business combining the stability and breadth of an established global asset manager with the entrepreneurial energy of a team scaling rapidly in a high‑growth market. The successful hire will play a central role in expanding the firm’s presence across the Middle East, operating from Abu Dhabi as the primary base. The remit spans both new business development and the stewardship of existing relationships, with a clear mandate to broaden the firm’s footprint across priority wholesale channels.
A core focus will be building strong and enduring relationships with local and international banks, wealth managers, platforms, insurance‑linked providers and other key distributors. The role will also serve as a coordination point for global banks where fund selection sits outside the region, ensuring connectivity with central teams and alignment on regional opportunities.
Close internal collaboration is essential, working with colleagues across regional and global offices to ensure coherent client coverage, effective follow‑up, and strategic alignment. Regular travel across the UAE and wider Gulf markets will be required to support coverage plans and to deliver a client experience consistent with global standards.
