Job description

JOB TITLE
Operation Supervisor | MAF Entertainment | Cinemas

ROLE SUMMARY

The Supervisor's role is to ensure the smooth operation of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment attractions in close collaboration with the Associate Manager and/or Manager. They will lead the Customer Service Officer team during their shift to guarantee excellent guest satisfaction by providing an engaging and enjoyable experience in a clean and safe environment.

ROLE PROFILE
  1. Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify faults, breakdowns, and equipment deficiencies, reporting issues to the Line Manager and relevant Technician.
  2. Support the management team in supervising designated teams to ensure adherence to schedules, shift rotas, and Customer Service Officer tasks.
  3. Resolve customer conflicts and complaints to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  4. Monitor the facility and equipment through audits, asset registers, and periodic maintenance.
  5. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and reports.
  6. Train and mentor small to medium-sized teams, understanding peak and off-peak times.
  7. Ensure team members meet yearly KPIs.
  8. Ensure all team members, third parties, and contractors correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Diploma or certification in any discipline and/or relevant experience.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced operational environment, including at least 1 year as a Customer Service Officer and/or Customer Service Representative.
  3. Experience in customer service, sales techniques, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Knowledge of inventory cycles.
  6. Excellent communication skills (oral and written), along with strong organizational, management, and leadership abilities to foster a positive environment.
