Job Description

Pre-Production & Creative Concept

Majority of the tasks pertaining to the Visual Content Producer surround the creation of visual content. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Visualizing shot lists for photoshoots.
  • Understanding the Client’s goal and vision for the shoot
  • Being aligned with the social media and brand guidelines for each brand
  • Brainstorming and developing ideas/campaigns that aim to build and strengthen brand awareness and value.
  • Ensuring models are directed professionally during the shoots
  • Sending operational requirements to the clients for the shoot
  • Filling up shoot calendar and schedule and making sure that it is up to date everyday

On-Ground Shoot

  • Capture high-quality food, beverage, interior, and lifestyle imagery that reflects each restaurant’s brand and experience.
  • Style and position food, props, and table settings to optimize visual appeal for social, web, and advertising use.
  • Maintains relationships with clients, team members, models, stylists, hair/makeup artists, and assistants, etc.
  • Conduct shoots for social media, Paid Ads, Website, Newsletter, F&B, Lifestyle, Portrait, Product Photography, Events, etc.

Post-Production

  • Executes standard photography operation procedures including image editing techniques, tools, processes, and guidelines.
  • Use software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro & After Effects.
  • Utilizes up-to-date knowledge of product trends, consumer buying, and photography/imaging technology to enhance product photo presentation.
  • Edit photos in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for social media, websites, and paid ads, ensuring consistent brand tone and aesthetic.
  • Create simple motion graphics, transitions, or overlays when needed for promotional reels.
  • Meeting deadlines and delivering high quality content

Asset Management

A significant aspect of content creation is the assets (content) that is delivered as a result. It is imperative that the photographer organizes and manages these assets effectively for storage purposes and for ease in the completion of related tasks.

  • Maintain all the footage from shoots (photos and videos) in folders with the appropriate naming conventions so that they can be easily accessed for other tasks such as the creation of reels, website updates, newsletters, etc.
  • Ensuring Audio Visual equipment is stored in the most appropriate manner and safely and ensuring no damage to the equipment, taking ownership of logging the details of the usage.
  • Ensuring all props are stored safely and logged appropriately for usage.

Communication

  • The photographer must liaise with stakeholders and vendors as and when required for the smooth execution of projects, as and when necessary.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with stakeholders (internally and externally) and vendors for project confirmation, updates on projects, any feedback, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing Strategy, Film Production, Arts, Design, Photography).

- Minimum 4 years of experience in visual content production, ideally within F&B, hospitality or lifestyle sectors.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- Strong Portfolio showcasing a blend of food, interior, and lifestyle content

- Agency experience is an advantage.

Preferred Computer Proficiency

- Adobe Lightroom

- Adobe Photoshop

- Adobe Premiere Pro

- Adobe After Effects is a plus

- FCP is a plus
