Role Description

The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and refining video content for a variety of projects, including campaigns, reels, brand films, and event coverage. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting key shots, applying transitions, effects, and titles, and ensuring visual consistency across deliverables. The role involves collaborating with creative directors and producers, integrating sound design, and performing color correction and color grading to achieve a cinematic look. The Video Editor will also optimize content for different platforms and formats, maintain project files and backup systems, and support continuous improvement of editing workflows. This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling and polishing narrative and promotional content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to match tones, enhance visuals, and create cinematic looks.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support branding, titles, and on-screen information.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications for social media and web.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with creative and marketing teams.
• Prior work in commercial, branded, or social media content editing is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant experience is required.
