Valve Supervisor - Nuclear Facilities

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: Initial 4-month contract

Visa/Sponsorship: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UAE

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Valve Supervisor to oversee valve maintenance, inspection, and testing activities within nuclear facilities. The role ensures all work complies with nuclear safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead valve technicians and fitters in execution of valve repair, calibration, and testing
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear QA standards, traceability requirements, and documentation
  • Interpret valve data sheets, torque requirements, and OEM manuals
  • Supervise work on isolation valves, control valves, safety/relief valves, MOVs, and AOVs
  • Coordinate with valve engineers and nuclear operations for lockout/tagout procedures
  • Complete and submit valve inspection and test reports
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supervising valve maintenance activities
  • Mandatory: Experience in nuclear valve maintenance
  • Knowledge of ASME, RCC-M, and nuclear-class valves
  • Strong valve diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
Work Schedule & Conditions
  • Standard: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week
  • Pre-outage: 40-48 hours per week (as required)
  • Outage period: Up to 72 hours per week, with overtime applicable after 48 hours
