Job summary

Médetone in Dubai is seeking a dedicated UX/UI Designer to craft user-friendly digital experiences for customers in healthcare tech. You will conduct user research, create personas and journeys, design wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces, and ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance across web and mobile apps.

Collaborate with product and engineering to translate business needs into intuitive designs and iterate based on analytics and user feedback.

Qualifications

• Solid UX/UI design experience.
• Skilled in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of user research and accessibility.
• Experience in regulated environments with healthcare/MedTech standards (HIPAA/WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points in healthcare/MedTech.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid UX/UI design experience, be skilled in tools like Figma or Sketch, and understand user research and accessibility, especially in regulated environments.

The role will be responsible for creating user-friendly digital experiences for our customers by conducting user research, developing intuitive interfaces, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points in the healthcare and MedTech space.
• Develop personas, user journeys, and experience maps to inform design decisions that enhance usability and accessibility.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications that communicate design ideas clearly.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall digital experience for customers.
• Work closely with multiple teams to translate business requirements and technical constraints into user-friendly designs.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall user experience.
• Continuously improve and refine designs based on test results, analytics, and user insights to enhance user satisfaction and functionality.
• Ensure designs adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and consider accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) for inclusive design.

• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, best practices, and design systems that drive effective user-centred designs.
• Experience creating and implementing design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across digital products.
• Ability to analyse feedback and usage data to make informed design improvements
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design ideas and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on creating pixel-perfect, high-quality designs.
