The role includes diagnosis, treatment planning, and overseeing nursing and resident staff within a clinical setting.

The successful candidate will hold a medical degree with residency and fellowship in urology, possess a state license, and stay current with medical technologies.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and completion of a residency and fellowship in urology.
• State license and certification to practice urology.

Responsibilities

• Examining, diagnosing and treating genitourinary conditions.
• Documenting and reviewing patient histories.
• Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Using specialized equipment such as X-rays, fluoroscopes and catheters.
• Performing abdominal, pelvic or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary.
• Treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions.
• Prescribing medications for infections and ED, infertility or ejaculation issues.
• Providing urology consultations or referrals to specialists.
• Directing nursing, residents or other staff.
