About the Role:

Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an Urban Designer to join our office in Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary:

The Urban Designer with proven experience in the UAE/Middle East to contribute to the delivery of high-quality master planning and urban design projects. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of master planning urban design and landscape projects. The role requires a balance of design creativity technical knowledge and familiarity with local authority processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of urban design and master planning projects.
• Support landscape design tasks including site analysis concept development and integration with urban frameworks.
• Prepare design drawings reports and visual presentations to effectively communicate ideas.
• Efficient in Report writing and related graphics.
• Collaborate with architects engineers and landscape teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions.
• Conduct research benchmarking and precedent studies to inform project development.
• Ensure all work complies with UAE authority codes standards and submission requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies applying them where relevant.

Requirements:

• Degree in Urban Design Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with strong exposure to projects in the UAE/Middle East.
• Strong urban design and landscape design skills with the ability to integrate both disciplines.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite SketchUp Revit or GIS).
• Good understanding of master planning regulations and approval processes in the UAE.
• Excellent graphic hand sketching and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
• Proactive adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality design outcomes.
