Job summary

Julius Baer Group in Dubai seeks a talented early-career professional to join the Investment Advisory Team and support senior Investment Advisors in the Middle East. You will rotate through three assignments, learn to advise High Net Worth clients and assimilate Julius Baer investment views for proposals and reviews.

Gain practical experience with portfolio analysis tools, pricing of structured products, and OTC derivatives while building client-management skills in a dynamic wealth-management

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a university with above-average grades in finance or related field.
• Initial practical experience in finance, preferably relating to investments.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position.
• Passion for wealth management and desire to create value beyond wealth.

As part of the Client Coverage & Advisory you will join Investment Advisory Team in Dubai, which plays a key role in covering and advising our key clients in the Middle East.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support the team of established Investment Advisors in Dubai
• Learn to advise High Net Worth individuals, within a portfolio context (risk management approach), with their investments across asset classes and products
• Assimilate Julius Baer s investment views and strategy, and apply these in portfolio proposals and reviews
• Learn and use all the tools at our disposal (pricing of structured products, OTC derivatives, portfolio analysis etc.)
• Join and contribute investment ideas in team meetings
• Provide active support in client management & discussions
• Learn about all the various functions in Wealth Management and, in particular, at Julius Baer
• Adapt to different teams and environments over the course of your 3 rotations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in finance or related field (graduation max. 12 months ago)
• Initial practical experience in finance, preferably relating to investments (research, products, asset management etc.)
• Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
• A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
• Fluency in English, with Arabic being a plus
• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
