Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks a UAS Pilot to join the flight crew, executing designated UAS operations under PIC command. The role covers ground and flight activities, currency maintenance, and input on procedures to support national and international deployments.

Candidates must hold an appropriate UAS rating with relevant licenses and have completed a UAS Type Training, plus English proficiency at Class 4 or higher. Edge offers a competitive, tax-free package and global opportunities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate UAS category, class and type rating in accordance to the Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
• Preferably holds civilian/military manned/unmanned aviation Flight crew license [fixed/rotary wing] incl. Radio Communication license; Successful completion of Higher Technical College or UAE AF Air College.
• Successful completion of UAS Type Training and no less than 24 months System time as Junior Pilot on UAS category, class and type. Min of Class 4 English Proficiency Level.

About The Role

The UAS Pilot carries out the duties and holds the responsibilities as (designated) UAS flight crew member under the command of the PIC.

Responsibilities

• Non-Operational Ground/Flight Activities.


• Operational Flight Activities.


• Maintenance of UAS Operational Currency.


• Performance of Miscellaneous OPS Tasks.


• To reach min. ADASI specified PIC requirements.


• Generation/Maintenance of OPS Equipment Status System [Operational Equipment].


• Generate and provide input in regards to local and standard operating procedures.


• Carry out Development related ground and flight activities.

To maintain fleet serviceability and enhance UAS capability, GT, TT, FT, SIM and Equipment testing are to be carried out.

To successfully comply with ADASI commitments, carrying out Internal and External Flight Operations, participating in national and international deployments.

To maintain ADASI OPS Department operational status.

To support ADASI commitments such as National/International Static and Flight Demonstrations.

For career progression and broader employability.

To provide management with visibility of equipment status.

For purposes of risk mitigation, standardization and correct practice consistent within aviation, national/international regulations and aviation standard procedures.

UAS Type enhancement.
