Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in tax management, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws, corporate taxation, and international tax frameworks.
• Experience in dealing with tax authorities and handling audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns and corporate tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
• Manage tax audits and disputes, ensuring effective communication with tax authorities.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and maintain required documentation.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations

Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation effectively

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Master’s degree preferred

Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CTA
