Job summary

Woopel in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks a Merchandiser to plan and execute product displays and promotions in retail stores, maximizing sales and brand awareness. This contract role offers a salary of 1300$ per month and visa sponsorship for eligible Egyptian nationals.

The role requires collaboration with the sales team, regular store visits, shelf-space negotiation, stock monitoring, and promotional setup aligned with company guidelines. Fluency in Arabic is essential; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandiser experience or similar role.
• Egyptian national currently residing in UAE with visa sponsorship or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic (English proficiency is a plus).
• Knowledge of retail industry trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Must be physically fit for lifting/moving products.
• Must have own transportation or willingness to use public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales team to develop effective strategies to increase product visibility and sales.
• Visit assigned stores on a regular basis to ensure that products are properly displayed and stocked.
• Negotiate shelf space and display locations with store managers to maximize exposure.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overstock situations to the sales team.
• Set up promotional displays according to company guidelines and track their effectiveness.
• Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer preferences and competitor activities.
