Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with up-to-date certification.
• At least 2 years' experience in a pharmacy.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Experience with pharmacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide information regarding their use, side effects, storage and disposal.
• Check prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient profiles and document all transactions accurately in the computer system.
• Answer customer inquiries about medications, medical equipment, insurance coverage etc.
• Receive payment from customers for purchased items.
• Monitor stock levels and order medications as needed.
