A leading global food and beverage company is seeking a UAE Country Sales Head to drive revenue and market share growth across all trade channels in the UAE. The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in commercial leadership within FMCG and full accountability for P&L. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, leading a high-performing sales organization, and ensuring operational excellence at all levels.
The UAE Country Sales Head is responsible for driving topline revenue, volume growth, and strategic execution across all trade channels in the UAE. This pivotal leadership role includes full P&L accountability and direct oversight of the Traditional Trade (TT) channel. The role will be responsible for crafting and executing robust short- and long-term growth strategies, developing a high-performing sales organization, and translating national and regional commercial objectives into actionable, market-specific execution. The role will also be expected to manage complexity, optimize resource deployment, and lead a dynamic team to deliver excellence in execution and market share gains.
•Develop and lead the execution of the UAE sales strategy aligned with regional business objectives to deliver net revenue, volume, and market share targets.•Translate UAE market goals into actionable sales plans, setting clear objectives by channel, region, and customer.•Lead cross-functional alignment to deliver annual business plans, including forecasting, promotional planning, and customer engagement strategies.•Monitor sales performance and KPIs, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions to deliver against plans.•Own full accountability for the TT channel ensuring short- and long-term volume and revenue targets are consistently exceeded.•Drive fundamentals execution excellence at the store level, ensuring strong visibility, availability, and compliance across retail partners.•Drive continuous improvement in sales operations, overhead optimization, and field efficiency.•Oversee sales controls, including inventory management, accounting compliance, trade spend governance, and execution tracking.•Ensure timely resolution of supply chain and service-related challenges in coordination with internal and external stakeholders•Build, lead, and coach a high-performing field sales team with a strong winning mindset and performance culture.•Champion capability development through structured coaching, training, and performance reviews for sales and channel managers.•Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment that enables sales teams to respond proactively to local market dynamics.
•Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.•10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in FMCG.•Demonstrated success managing multi-channel sales, with experience in Traditional Trade and Distributor Management.•Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into executable commercial plans with measurable outcomes.•Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, ROI analysis, and budget management.•Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills to drive team performance and stakeholder engagement.•Strong knowledge of local trade dynamics and customer landscape.
