Job summary

JobCenter in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Tutor to provide educational support to students. The role requires a passion for teaching and strong communication and organizational skills. A salary of 1,400 AED monthly is offered, and visa eligibility will be considered for applicants eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.

The Tutor will prepare course materials, develop individualized instruction plans, monitor progress, and create an engaging learning environment to promote student development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a tutor or teacher preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to assess individual student's needs effectively.
• Knowledge of basic teaching methods including technology-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Develop and implement individualized instruction plans designed to meet student's needs.
• Monitor student performance and progress towards goals.
• Facilitate activities that promote physical, mental and social development.
• Plan classroom activities that stimulate learning, motivate students and encourage participation.
• Create an environment that is conducive to learning.
• Encourage problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills.
• Maintain records of student progress and participation.
