Emirates Global Aluminium seeks an Operator Turbine & Boiler to ensure smooth operation of gas and steam turbines and related plant equipment. You will follow instructions from supervisors, monitor readings, and report deviations to maintain safe, efficient performance.

The role requires a Higher Secondary Certificate, 4 years in a power station, 2 years as a Desalination Operator (PG7) or similar, with strong English, communication, and diagram-reading skills.

Qualifications

• English language skills to prepare and complete shift reports.
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to understand single line diagram.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment.
• Record routine parameter readings and report deviations.
• Inform Supervisor or control room of abnormalities.
• Ensure standby equipment is ready for emergencies.
• Assist in routine testing/re-commissioning after outages.
• Adopt safe working practices for personal and plant safety.
• Identify hazards and participate in reporting systems.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Be conversant with emergency procedures for assigned area.
• Carry out on the job training and strive for higher competency.
