Experienced Truck Driver (Contract)


We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a contract basis in the bustling city of Ajman in the United Arab Emirates. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations within the UAE.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including heavy-duty and specialized vehicles
- Load, unload, and secure goods onto the truck
- Follow safety regulations and company policies while driving on roads and highways
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations
- Perform routine checks on the truck's condition, fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, etc.
- Complete required paperwork for each trip, including delivery receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver in a similar role
- Valid UAE driver's license for heavy-duty vehicles (category 4)
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws in the UAE
- Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers and clients effectively
- Physically fit with good eyesight and hearing abilities for safe driving
- Strong time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Basic math skills for completing paperwork accurately

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Are African or Malayalees nationals (or have experience working with these communities)
OR
Own their own visa
OR
Are recent graduates looking for an opportunity to gain experience.

As this is a contract position, candidates must be open to flexible schedules and be able to work under varying weather conditions.
