Job summary

Veolia Near & Middle East seeks a Treasurer to lead treasury, working capital and liquidity management for the BU. You will collaborate with banking partners and internal teams to secure financial instruments and optimize cash flow for project delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years in treasury/trade finance, strong analytical skills, and English fluency; Arabic or French is a plus. Based in the UAE, the role operates within the Group Treasury framework and supports regional finance strategy.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3 years in treasury/trade finance in UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of treasury controls and compliance.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/French an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support trade finance activities including bank guarantees and LC.
• Manage working capital through factoring and supply chain financing.
• Prepare cash forecasts and monitor liquidity and dividends.
• Drive relationships with banks and ensure compliance documentation.
• Develop treasury policies and improve reporting processes.
• Prepare quarterly cash and debt reporting for leadership.
