A financial services firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee cash flow and manage financial risks. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in treasury management and related certifications. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of banking operations are essential. The position offers an opportunity to lead a treasury team and ensure compliance with local regulations.
The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the companys cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk exposure. The role ensures the Group maintains adequate funding for operations and projects, optimizes cash utilization, and mitigates financial risks through effective treasury strategies and controls.
Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for business operations.
Forecast short-term and long-term cash needs for operational, capital, and investment requirements.
Develop and maintain efficient cash pooling and fund transfer mechanisms across group entities.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and international banks.
Negotiate banking facilities, including loans, credit lines, overdrafts, and performance guarantees.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to banking structures, fees, and services.
Supervise treasury activities including payments, fund transfers, and cash reconciliations.
Implement and monitor treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of all treasury transactions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to liquidity, interest rates, and foreign exchange.
Develop and implement hedging and investment strategies when necessary.
Monitor market trends and provide insights for financial decision-making.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports including cash flow statements and forecasts.
Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions for cash management efficiency.
Support finance and audit teams with treasury-related data during internal and external audits.
Lead and mentor treasury team members to enhance performance and professional development.
Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations, company policies, and audit standards.
Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as required.
Masters Degree (MBA in Finance) is an advantage.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or cash management, ideally in a group or large organization within the UAE or GCC.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial instruments, and treasury systems.
Experience in ERP and treasury management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Kyriba) preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
