Job summary

Keolis-MHI Dubai is seeking a senior operations professional to manage strategic interfaces for Dubai Metro and Tram. You will lead liaison with RTA, emergency services, and other governmental bodies to ensure integrated transport services and robust incident response.

Responsibilities include chairing multimodal integration meetings, overseeing third-party interfaces, and coordinating testing and drills with internal teams and external partners to safeguard service continuity.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or higher diploma in a related discipline.
• Membership of a recognised transport institution is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in transport.
• Experience with emergency services and government organisations.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage key operational interfaces including transport integration, emergency services and governmental interfaces for the Dubai Metro & Tram.
• Chair Multimodal Transport Integration Meeting with RTA Rail Agency and PTA Bus.
• Support the KM departments and emergency services to ensure emergency response arrangements are in place.
• Support in the implementation of Test Exercise programme for Dubai Metro and Tram.
• Liaison and agreement on Third-Party Management and Interface with the Roads and Transport Authority.
• Maintain communications with third parties to achieve an integrated testing and trial running approach.
• Conduct walkthroughs, site familiarization and stakeholder pre-events or exercises as required.
• Identify required stakeholders and start communicating to build relationships.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to manage and oversee key operational interfaces including transport integration & mobility, emergency services and governmental interfaces for the Keolis-MHI Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

1. Lead Dubai Metro and Tram integration issues with the RTA for the delivery of integrated transport services.
2. Liaison and agreement on the Third-Party Management and Interface with the Roads and Transport Authority.
3. Liaise with the emergency services including the police to ensure that all arrangements for emergency response and management are in place.
4. Run focus groups, desk-top exercises and the new initiatives related to security and stakeholder relations department.
5. Liaise with third parties and internal departments to develop their involvement in line with operational assurance, including the planning, implementation of interdisciplinary.
6. Maintain excellent relationship with our Stakeholders.
7. Manage and deliver the Public Integration Proposal.

3. Road & Transport Authority (Rail Agency, Rail Right of Way, Security Corporate, Safety Risk Regulation Planning Department, Public Transport Authority, Traffic Road Authority) and other agencies in RTA.
4. Dubai Transport Security Police.
5. Dubai Police (Police Stations, General Deportment of Protective & Emergency, Traffic Police, Rescue & Search, Operation Control Centre, Resilience centre Police and etc)

Operational

1. Manage key operational interfaces including transport integration, emergency services and governmental interfaces for the Dubai Metro & Tram.

• Professionally qualified with membership of a recognised transport institution.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience working in a transport environment or other similar environment.
• Experience working with emergency service and other governmental organisations.
• Thorough understanding experience of dealing with third parties within the United Arab Emirates.
• Experience in operational delivery and working with Key Performance Indicators and contractual targets.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting.

• Good English and Arabic communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
