Qualifications

• Qualification in the post holder's specialty as per HAAD accreditation.
• Tier 1: No additional experience required post board certification.
• Tier 2: At least 2 years of clinical experience post qualification in internationally accredited institute.
• Tier 3: At least 3 years clinical experience as Specialist post qualification in internationally accredited institute.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Consultant Physician, diagnoses and treats patients according to established standards of best practice.
• Leads ward rounds and reassesses inpatients and outpatients on a regular basis.
• Documents all relevant clinical information clearly and timely.
• Communicates with patients and families in a timely manner.
• Participates in multidisciplinary meetings to plan holistic patient care.
• Ensures preparation for procedures and informed consent.
• Supports quality improvement and reporting of untoward incidents.
