Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Trailer Driver in Dubai to ensure cost-efficient fuel use and to load trailers with a full tank at the end of each shift. You will evaluate vehicle and cargo for flaws, maintain records, and communicate with planning teams, while adhering to UAE road rules and safety policies.

The role requires reliable commuting to Dubai and a valid UAE driving certificate (preferred). This position offers full-time hours and exposure to logistics operations within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving certificate (Preferred).
• Ability to commute to Dubai or relocate before starting.
• Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vehicle, car-carrier and cargo for flaws during and after trips and send a written report if any defects found.
• Submit all relevant items listed in the driver SOP accurately and on time including Journey Sheets, Fuel Bills, signed DOs, Police Information and Issue Sheets.
• Maintain a 100% damage-free record. Report all accidents or incidents including company equipment to Planning Team. Maintain driver logbook per company needs.
• Provides an interaction link between clients and Planning staff. Excellent communication and diplomacy abilities required.
• Understanding of fundamental vehicle and automotive maintenance procedures; comply with Health and Safety policy and UAE road rules.
