Job summary

NAFFCO FZCO seeks a proactive Trader for US stock markets to actively participate in equity trading and portfolio growth. You will use fundamental and technical analysis to guide trades and contribute to risk-managed decision making in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires at least 2 years of direct US equities trading experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with trading platforms. A CFA/CMT is advantageous; Bachelor's in Finance or related field preferred.

Qualifications

Required Skills – Equity Trading, Market Analysis, and Risk Management

• Proven experience in live equity trading, ideally in US markets, with a sound understanding of stock exchanges, order types, and liquidity management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret charts, technical indicators, market flows, and statistical data to inform trading decisions.
• Excellent judgement, discipline, and resilience in fast-moving financial environments, with a focus on effective risk management.
• Clear communication and collaborative skills for working within a diverse and dynamic trading team.
• Technical proficiency in trading platforms, market data software, and business productivity tools including Excel and relevant analytical applications.

Qualifications & Experience – US Equity Markets, Trading Platforms, and Finance

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience trading US equities and a demonstrable record of performance.
• Professional certifications in financial markets (CFA, CMT, or similar) are advantageous.
