Job summary

MindBase Education in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified TOEFL iBT Teacher to prepare students for the TOEFL iBT exam. The ideal candidate will teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking and design engaging lessons tailored to learners' proficiency.

You will deliver lessons individually or in small groups, assess proficiency, provide strategies and materials for all sections, monitor progress, and maintain records. Familiarity with online or hybrid teaching is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Education, Linguistics, or related field.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred.
• Proven experience teaching TOEFL or other English proficiency exams.
• Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate students and build confidence in English skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver TOEFL iBT lessons to individuals or small groups.
• Assess students' English proficiency and tailor lessons accordingly.
• Provide strategies and practice materials for Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.
• Monitor and track student progress with regular feedback.
• Prepare and administer mock tests to simulate real exam conditions.

• Stay updated on TOEFL exam updates, strategies and best practices.
