Third Mate – Maritime Contract Role - Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Third Mate to join our team of maritime professionals at our operation in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. This is a contract position and the successful applicant must have at least 5 years of experience as a Third Mate on board a vessel.

The ideal candidate will be an independent and self‑motivated individual who is able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in their work. An understanding of the regulations governing maritime operations is also essential. Preference will be given to applicants who are nationals or residents of the UAE, Indian nationals or African nationals, and those with proficiency in English.

The primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: working with the vessel crew to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations; ensuring safe navigation; monitoring vessel systems and equipment; providing assistance with loading and unloading cargo; assisting in emergency operations; supervising personnel onboard the vessel; maintaining accurate records; and carrying out other duties as required.
