Job summary

A leading global technology firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a Tendering Specialist to oversee cost estimates and the preparation of bids for electrical products. Candidates should have a degree in electrical discipline and at least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in oil & gas. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for interfacing with customers and preparing compliant documents.

Qualifications

• 4 – 5 years in a similar position ideally in an O&G environment.
• Experience in tender preparation for LV Switchgear, Battery Chargers & UPS.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure costing of quotes and production of tenders.
• Work with After Sales / Service team on Brownfield modifications.
• Analyze RFQs and prepare bid documents.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensures the costing of quotes and the production of tenders under the responsibility of the Tendering Manager – CME
• Works with the After Sales / Service team on Brownfield modification of switchgear
• Analyze RFQs – including identification of correct product range
• Interfacing with other COMECA global teams
• Bid document preparation
• Specification analysis for preparation for bid compliance and Data Sheet completion
• Data Entry into CRM system
• In "consultation" mode, may take charge of the complete interface with customers up to the point of placing an order.
• Analysis of electrical drawings file
• Support to the sales team.

What we expect of you

• Degree in relevant electrical discipline
• Experience in a tender preparation for LV Switchgear, Battery Chargers & UPS.
• EV charger and high power rectifiers are an added advantage
• Able to analyze and interpret electrical schematics, SLD and specifications
• Minimum 4 – 5 years in similar position ideally in an O&G environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office and Google Workspace)
• Ability to edit .pdf and AutoCAD files
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with ISO- and MS Dynamics is desirable
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of ECMS / IPCS systems based on Siemens Automation products would be an added advantage
