Responsibilities

• Engineering Design, Conceptual, FEED and detail Engineering experience
• Proposal Estimation (manhours, deliverable list, costing estimation for telecom systems proposals)
• Support interfacing between telecom systems and key vendors (including Digital System Integrator) and other EPC contractors to ensure quality and execution objectives are met
• Ensure telecom engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations, if any
• Co‑ordinate with other disciplines and review other discipline deliverables
• Carry out onshore and offshore site surveys as required
• Attend interface meetings with clients and vendors to progress design scope requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecom Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering
• Experience working with multi‑national and multi‑cultural project teams is strongly preferred
• Competent to carry out the Design activity in the Design‑Check‑Approve‑Authorize cycle, and to check the technical deliverables of designers
• General knowledge of other related disciplines
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast‑paced multi‑disciplinary team environment
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Good oral and written English skills; able to produce fluent documents, reports, and technical notes
• Minimum +5 years’ experience working in telecoms within large Oil & Gas facilities, with broad knowledge of engineering execution (design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore and offshore facilities design, construction and operations)
