Job summary

UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) seeks a technical maintenance specialist in Abu Dhabi to ensure timely system upkeep and fault rectification per established standards. You will manage system upgrades, document outages, prepare operational reports, and coordinate with internal teams to meet safety and quality goals while complying with IMS procedures.

Applicants should have a degree or diploma in a relevant technical discipline or an accepted apprenticeship, with good communication

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks as per project timelines and defined project roles.
• Ensure timely and reliable system maintenance and fault rectifications per the standards and recommended practices.
• Carry out system and technology related upgrades as per guidelines.
• Communicate maintenance and fault related issues with relevant parties to ensure resolution in the most optimal manner.
• Ensure that all documentation related to system outage rectification and maintenance is recorded and documented as per guidelines for any use or reference.
• Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards.
• Perform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
