Job summary

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, a member of the Ghobash Group, invites applications for a CCTV Technician in Abu Dhabi to install, configure, test, commission and maintain CCTV systems (IP and analog cameras, DVRs/NVRs, VMS) on onshore/offshore oil & gas projects.

The role requires hands-on fault diagnosis, cable termination, and documentation, plus integration with access control and other ELV systems, all while complying with HSE and permit-to-work rules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Certification in CCTV or ELV systems is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Power, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Hands-on installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
• Knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV surveillance systems.
• Understanding LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, fiber optics, and structured cabling.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV systems (IP/analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, VMS).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for optimum performance.
• Troubleshoot faults in CCTV cameras, recording devices, network, and security systems.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation.
• Monitor system performance and verify image quality for full operation.
• Support integration and maintenance of access control and other ELV/security systems.
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Operations, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Prepare maintenance reports and system documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, permit-to-work, and oil & gas regulations.

Job Description

• Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, VMS platforms, and associated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimum system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to CCTV cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, monitoring stations, and security systems.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation for CCTV and security system installations.
• Monitor system performance, verify image quality, and ensure full operational functionality of security surveillance systems.
• Support the integration and maintenance of access control, intrusion detection, and other ELV/security systems where required.
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Operations, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and system documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, permit-to-work requirements, and oil & gas industry regulations while performing all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certification in CCTV Systems, Security Systems, Networking, or ELV systems is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Power, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV surveillance systems.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, fiber optic systems, and structured cabling.
