Job summary

United Arab Emirates University is seeking a dedicated engineer to support ground station systems. You will perform assignments related to ground station installations, maintenance, and repairs, and assist in design, management, and deployment of the ground station framework.

The role involves troubleshooting for ongoing and new project issues, helping with data management, and contributing to publications and media materials used for deployment by the Media Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Ability to perform RF engineering tasks and troubleshoot ground station systems.
• Strong technical writing skills for publications and reports.
• Experience with data management and statistical analysis is a plus.

Job Description:

• He/she will be responsible of performing assignments relating to the ground station, performing installation maintenance, and repairing the system of telecommunication and others.
• Under the direction of the unit head, he/she will assist with the design, management, and implementation of the ground station system.
• Furthermore, he/she will be required to perform troubleshooting on ongoing or new problem in the project.
• General task Assist in the implementation of the Ground Station system.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Ground Station equipment
• Assist in the presentation of publications and media materials for deployment including abstracts, publications, summary reports, and promotional materials for the Media Center.
• Assist in the verification and transformation of the operation phase of the NSSTCs satellite.
• Assist in the training of students and research associates in the unit in data management and statistical analysis.
• Assist in troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical engineering or relevant

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good command of technical skills.
• Scientific and Technical writing skills
• Good knowledge in RF engineering
• Skill in hardware and software
