The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) is a strategic role that uniquely combines technical expertise with commercial leadership to drive project success across MEA. Reporting to the MEA PWS Sales Director with a dotted line to the Proposal Directors SYSS MEA, the TSS leads the complete technical sales cycle for assigned projects, serving as the critical bridge between Sales, Project Pursuit, Proposal teams, and customers. This role requires exceptional ability to identify customer pain points and power structures, lead technical discussions, and translate complex requirements into compelling, winning solutions.
The TSS provides strategic technical and commercial guidance for high-value pursuits above defined thresholds, supporting qualification processes and helping teams develop competitive strategies. Additionally, the role includes full sales ownership and responsibility for small to mid‑sized projects, requiring end‑to‑end management from opportunity identification through closure. This position demands both strategic consultation skills for complex pursuits and hands‑on sales execution for direct project management.
