Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and intelligent Executive Technical Assistant to provide comprehensive technical and operational support to senior management.

This role is ideal for a young, ambitious civil engineer who combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and is eager to take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced construction/engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Support
  • Provide technical assistance to senior management in day-to-day business operations
  • Support decision‑making processes with technical analysis and recommendations
  • Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments as required
Resource Management
  • Coordinate and optimize allocation of human resources across projects
  • Monitor resource utilization and efficiency
  • Assist in workforce planning and deployment strategies
  • Manage resource scheduling and availability tracking
Plant & Machinery (P&M) Acquisitions
  • Research and evaluate equipment requirements for various projects
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and leasing
  • Conduct technical evaluations of machinery and equipment
  • Assist in cost‑benefit analysis for P&M investments
  • Manage equipment inventory and maintenance schedules
Subcontractor Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified subcontractors
  • Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities across multiple projects
  • Handle dispute resolution and contract administration
General Business Support
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations
  • Assist in business development activities
  • Support quality control and compliance initiatives
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies
Essential Skills & Competencies
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices; knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies; familiarity with project management tools and techniques; understanding of contracts, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Management & Business Skills: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities; strong negotiation and vendor management skills; resource planning and optimization capabilities; basic understanding of financial analysis and cost management.

Education

  • MBA or Post‑Graduate degree Management/Business Administration preferred.
Experience
  • 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in construction sites and contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience in project execution and site management.
  • Exposure to various aspects of construction/engineering operations.
