Job summary

A VVIP Operator in the Middle East seeks a Technical Auditor for a permanent position. Responsibilities include issuing Airworthiness Review Certificates and conducting surveillance inspections. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engineering and at least five years in a regulatory role with CAA. Job description

Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by a VVIP Operator based in the Middle East who is looking to engage a Technical Auditor on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Issue and extend Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Issue Permits to Fly and authorize Functional Check Flights as required.
  • Conduct biannual reviews of aircraft maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform surveillance inspections of aircraft maintenance activities conducted in Doha to verify adherence to approved procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with the local CAA during all authority audits and ensure timely resolution of findings or observations.
  • Maintain and update the database of Local CAA company approvals to ensure records are current and compliant.
  • Liaise with the local CAA and other regulatory agencies for aircraft certificate renewals and related approvals.
Minimum Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or apprenticeship in Technical Profession equivalent to bachelor’s degree or holder of a Part 66 License.
  • Minimum five (5) years as LAE (B1 / B2) or Systems Engineer or in a regulatory role with any CAA.
  • Qualified Aviation Auditor.
  • Three (3) years in a quality assurance and auditing role.
  • Comprehensive aviation knowledge.
  • Familiarization with EASA / ICAO regulations.
  • Trained for the Quality & Safety Management System for Airlines
  • Aviation IT systems familiarity (TRAX etc.)
  • Human Factors in Aviation
