Dubai Future Foundation seeks a Tech Transfer Manager to oversee IP intake, evaluation, protection, and commercialization of IP from its research institutes. You will coordinate with legal, researchers, and industry partners to translate innovations into market opportunities.

The role requires steering IP strategy, ensuring governance, and fostering ecosystem collaboration to drive Dubai's innovation agenda. Proficiency in IP regimes and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in research, innovation, or ecosystem development.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property concepts (patents, trademarks, copyrights).
• Familiarity with IP processes (registration, protection, commercialization) and UAE/WIPO regimes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, Policy, IP Management, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Oversee IP intake, evaluation and protection across DFF-affiliated institutes.
• Build and manage a strategic IP portfolio aligned with DFF priority sectors.
• Lead commercialization pathways including licensing, JDAs, and spin-out formation.
• Engage researchers and provide IP/commercialization training to research staff.
• Develop and enforce IP policies, disclosure procedures, and royalty frameworks.
• Collaborate with venture managers, legal, finance, policy teams, and ecosystem partners.
