Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Team Lead - Key Account Management to lead a team of Key Account Managers responsible for driving growth, performance, and long-term success across a portfolio of top-tier partners in the UAE. In this role, you will set and execute the commercial strategy, manage key relationships, and ensure that your team delivers exceptional outcomes for both partners and the business.

This is a high-impact leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and has a passion for developing people, driving strategy, and delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Management & Growth: Lead commercial strategy across the team’s portfolio, identify and activate growth levers, optimize vendor performance, and drive profitability.
  • Design and execute strategic initiatives across the city, ranging from onboarding and engagement to performance optimization and retention.
  • Develop and oversee tailored growth plans and strategic roadmaps for high-priority accounts, ensuring long-term partner success and alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and address operational or structural gaps in the partner lifecycle by initiating and managing strategic projects across teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Finance, and Logistics).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to pilot innovative solutions, implement scalable processes, and deliver value-added services to strategic partners.
  • Serve as the voice of key partners within the organization, influencing product development and process improvements to better meet their evolving needs.
Team Development & Performance
  • Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers, driving performance across a diverse portfolio of top-tier partners.
  • Define and implement the commercial strategy across the team’s portfolio, identifying and activating key growth levers to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Drive strategic thinking and customer-centricity within the team.
  • Set clear goals, provide actionable feedback, and support professional development
Data-driven Decision Making
  • Analyze business data, performance dashboards, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities across accounts.
  • Translate insights into action plans that improve partner performance and team efficiency.
  • Build and present performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including the City Head and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Sales, Strategy, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles, with at least 1–2 years of team leadership.
  • Strong track record in owning strategic projects, building cross-functional alignment, and delivering results.
  • Analytical thinker with a solid understanding of business data, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with strong project management capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in e-commerce, food delivery, or tech is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Excel or data dashboards.
