Job summary

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, part of the Aldar Education family, is seeking a Teaching Assistant (UAE National) to support learning across the curriculum and help pupils become independent learners. Qualifications

High School Certificate (minimum education).
1 year experience as a Teaching Assistant.
UAE National Role.
Ability to develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community.
Be flexible and have a positive attitude.
Support children in all aspects of school life and help them to become independent learners.

Responsibilities

Work with groups or individuals to support learning across the curriculum.
Record pupil activities and assist with administrative tasks like preparing resources, setting up the classroom, and creating displays.
Encourage independence by questioning, modelling, and supporting personal organization and hygiene.
Build positive relationships with pupils through meaningful communication, enthusiasm, patience, and respect.
Supervise pupils during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons.
Work closely with the class teacher to ensure effective communication and lesson preparation.
Maintain confidentiality and seek support for personal development.
