Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education/Teaching or related field.
• Experience teaching is preferred but not essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan lessons according to curriculum requirements and to motivate students.

Responsibilities

• Developing lesson plans and delivering lessons to a range of classes.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behaviour of students.
• Working with colleagues to plan and coordinate work.
• Participating in academic events such as parent-teacher meetings, open days etc.
• Supervising students on educational trips and visits.
• Monitoring student attendance and participation.
• Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and policies.
• Organizing extra-curricular activities such as sports, social activities etc.
• Liaising with other professionals such as learning mentors, careers advisers etc.
