Job summary

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys in Abu Dhabi seeks a Teacher of Physical Education to join from January 2027, term 2 start. The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner familiar with UK or US curricula, committed to professional growth and adapting to UAE culture.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE and at least 3 years of teaching experience, plus a DBS check.

The role

The Sheikh Zayed Academy for Boys is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Physical Education from January 2027, at the start of Term 2. The successful candidate will be an accomplished practitioner with experience in either UK or US curricula, who is eager to develop professionally, acquire new insights, and embrace the culture of the UAE.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in another relevant subject plus PGCE
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
